Umrao Singh Sher-Gil Grant for Photography
The Competition: Started in 2015, Sher-Gil Sundaram Arts Foundation provides grant under Umrao Singh’s name to encourage independent voices in photography. Open to all Indian nationals, old and young, the grant is intended to assist photographers who have started a project and need financial help to complete their work. It is for both individual photographers and collaborative projects. You have to include photographic prints from your project in order to be recognized for the grant.
Genres: Staged Photography
Prize: A photography grant of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given to the winner to complete his/her project within 18 months.
